This unique and unusual Remington Model 5 typewriter with colored keys was manufactured in 1936 and was generally sold as a teaching typewriter. It has been professionally cleaned, serviced, and is in excellent working order with a fresh new ribbon installed on the original spools. New rubber feet have also been added as well. This machine is an absolute joy to type on, exceedingly smooth with a business like feel. All of this and great looking too! This is where functionality meets design. A fun conversation piece for sure!
The original owners manual and the original touch method instruction booklet are also included.
CONDITION
Wear is consistent with age, with a couple of small paint chips and some light wear to the labels. Case is in good condition.
