SOLD! Oliver No. 7 Typewriter

675.00

SO SORRY, someone has purchased this rare Oliver No.7 Standard Printype typewriter was only manufactured from 1914 to 1915 with serial numbers ranging from 494001 to 551000 this one being #514166. It is in excellent working order, has been professionally and meticulously cleaned, serviced, and a fresh new ribbon installed on the original spools. This typewriter has two very small paint chips on the right hand side near the "handle".

The Oliver was one of the first "visible" typewriters made, meaning you could see what you were typing as you were typing. The unusual type bars are bent in a bow (forming an inverted "U" shape) and rest in "towers" on the sides of the typewriter. This particular typewriter also has a pencil holder that will drop down so you may draw lines as well. Most are painted olive green and have "teaspouts" on the sides meant as handles. The Oliver has a 3-bank keyboard with double shift.

MEASURES:
15" X 14" X 10"
